1. About this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Undercurrent Rising collects, uses and protects personal information when you use the Undercurrent Toolkit, including the Sustainable Pricing Assessment and related tools.
The Undercurrent Toolkit is operated by Undercurrent Rising. If you have questions about this policy or how your information is handled, you can contact us at privacy@undercurrentrising.com.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the Toolkit, we may collect:
- Your email address when you request a Blueprint or choose to receive updates from Undercurrent Rising.
- Information you enter into assessments and tools, such as pricing, expenses, income goals, working hours and other business-related inputs.
- Basic analytics information about how visitors use the Toolkit, such as page views, device type, browser, country or region, referral source and interactions with certain features.
We do not intentionally request sensitive personal information through the Sustainable Pricing Assessment.
3. How we use your information
We use information collected through the Toolkit to:
- Calculate and display personalised Toolkit results.
- Send your requested Sustainable Pricing Blueprint to your email address.
- Send business insights, tools and updates from Undercurrent Rising when you explicitly choose to subscribe.
- Understand how people use the Toolkit and improve its content, usability and performance.
- Maintain the security and reliability of the service.
4. Newsletter and marketing consent
Requesting a Blueprint does not require you to subscribe to marketing communications.
Newsletter subscription is optional. If you tick the consent box, your email address may be added to the Undercurrent Rising mailing list so we can send you practical business insights, tools and updates.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in those emails.

Resend
Resend is used to deliver requested Blueprint emails and related transactional messages.

Beehiiv is used to manage the Undercurrent Rising newsletter and mailing list when you choose to subscribe.
6. Analytics
We use analytics to understand how visitors interact with the Toolkit, including visits, assessment starts, assessment completions, Blueprint requests and optional newsletter sign-ups.
Analytics information helps us understand which features are useful and where the Toolkit can be improved.
7. Legal basis for processing
Where applicable under UK data protection law, we process personal information on one or more of the following bases:
- Your consent, including where you choose to receive marketing communications.
- Providing a service you have requested, such as sending your Blueprint.
- Our legitimate interests in operating, securing, analysing and improving the Toolkit, provided those interests do not override your rights and interests.
8. Data retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing requested services, maintaining our mailing list where you have subscribed, complying with legal obligations and resolving disputes.
Information used only to generate your assessment results may not be stored permanently by the Toolkit unless this is necessary for delivering or operating the service.
9. International data transfers
Some of our service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards and the protections provided by those service providers in accordance with applicable data protection law.
